Greek Advertising-Communication Archive
The Greek Advertising and Communication Archive aims at the complete inventory, documentation and presentation of Greek advertising and communication, as well as any equivalent activity in other Greek communities, from the beginning of the new Greek State until today. Our main goal is to gradually form an extended data base, for both advertisers and their respective campaigns in all available media, based on copious material already at the archive’s disposal, donated mainly by the HACA (Hellenic Advertising - Communication Agencies Association) as well as additional communicational data.
The archive’s main objective is to become a central source of information, study and research on the history of Greek Advertisement and Communication, but also to support further research in various other fields, such as history, sociology, advertising, marketing, economy and history of art. The archive’s material will be presented to the public through periodical exhibitions and publications, while, long-term, it will form the basis for the foundation of the Greek Digital Advertisement Museum.
